Unfortunately this doesn't seem to be true. At least not in the case
where I've got a QCView in an Interface builder nib file. Maybe it's
because I'm using IB to load the composition into the QCView? I've
put all the files in the right places and tried multiple variations
on the pathname, but none of them seem to load the movie.
I'd be happy to send you the code if you'd like to look at it. I'm
sure it's something dumb I'm doing, but I haven't figured what.

I figured this must be a path problem (and it may be), but I've
fiddled quite a bit and can't seem to get it to work in a portable
way (i.e. so it will work on any machine in any directory). If I
set the path for the "Image with Movie" patch to be absolute
(e.g. /Users/erik/myApp.app/Contents/Resources/flame.mov) it will
work anywhere I put it on that machine, but fails if I try to copy
it to another machine. If I set it to something relative like "./
flame.mov" it continues to work as a screen saver and in composer
(provided the flame.mov is in the same directory as the .qtz file)
but doesn't work even on the machine I built it on then.
The Image from Movie patch looks first for a movie with the same
name in the directory of the composition file, then at the full
path location,
