Hello,
I've been working on a comp that I would like to put in an
application, however I'm new to development somewhat and very new to
OS X development.
What I need to do:
Pass my comp a few strings to alter whats being shown
Change some color values
Surround the comp with a pretty OS X GUI and possibly put it in full screen mode
Prettttty simple stuff, now what would be my best approach?
Cocoa + Obj-C?
or
Cocoa + Java? (can this even be done? I already know Java a bit, just
not sure about controlling a comp)
I went to BN yesterday and checked out Cocoa Development on OS X,
looked like a pretty solid book, does anyone recommend any other
books? This would mostly be to learn Obj-C and OS X GUI development.
Would like to see if there is anything else out there before I make a
purchase.
