Re: How simple of a project?



What I need to do:
Pass my comp a few strings to alter whats being shown
Change some color values
Surround the comp with a pretty OS X GUI and possibly put it in full screen mode

You don't even need to type any code for that (except for the full- screen part): check out the QC doc:

I went to BN yesterday and checked out Cocoa Development on OS X,
looked like a pretty solid book, does anyone recommend any other
books?  This would mostly be to learn Obj-C and OS X GUI development.
Would like to see if there is anything else out there before I make a
purchase.

I learned Cocoa myself a few years ago with "Cocoa Programming for Mac OS X", I found it a great book - but I wouldn't be able to tell how it compares to others:
