RE: freeframe to core image unit??? possible?

I doubt it, since a freeframe's entry point is a C function, and Core Image
Units need to use the Core Image Kernel Language.

Subject: freeframe to core image unit??? possible?

Pete Warden has just released a wrapper allowing VJ tools with freeframe
plugin support to run
core image units. at www.petewarden.com

this is cool. does anyone know if it would be technically possible to write
a wrapper that makes
free frame plugins appear as core image units? This would allow a whole
range of free and
commercial new fx to be run inside quartz composer. They'd all run CPU only
I presume, but
would still be pretty interesting.

www.freeframe.org has all the details of the spec...
