Creating a .saver bundle from a Quartz project

Hi List,

I've created a screensaver that I want to package up in a screensaver bundle in Xcode so that the end user cannot (easily) edit my quartz composition and I want to eventually add a config sheet.

For now though, I am just trying to get my qtz file displayed in a screensaver by sticking together bits of code from the Xcode screensaver template and the QuartzComposerPlayer example Xcode project.

So far, I have had no luck. I have not had much experience with Cocoa though I have developed some applescript studio applications so I am familiar with Xcode and the basic structure of C.

I have ascertained that I shouldn't be using CGDisplayCapture (as in the Quartz Player app) but should be creating a NSOpenGLContext, but so far have had no success as I'm not sure I'm doing things right.

I would appreciate if someone can explain in simple terms which bits go where, or maybe someone has created a coded something which could be used as a template. Or is there an online tutorial that anyone has come across.

Thanks for any help.

Steve
