Another idea I had was to set the "Repeat Mode" of the interpolation patch to "None"; however, it seems once the interpolation's value equals the stop value, you can't "restart" the interpolation, e.g. going from start/stop values of 90/180 to 180/270, and the rotation starting again.
Then you use a Stop Watch to drive the timebase
