I've been looking at ways of crowbarring audio support into Quartz
Composer. It should be possible to do this via a custom plugin...but
that's not my problem.
Ideally, I'd like to be able to open a composition up in Quicktime,
and be able to export it to a plain movie, complete with audio
track. The problem here is that Quicktime knows nothing about the
audio stream that happens to be playing.
So I'm thinking that I'm going to have to use Quicktime's Export for
the video, and come up with a custom solution for adding the audio on
top. Does anyone have any alternative suggestions?
Is anyone here writing custom plugins, or am I in the wrong place for
that?
