Re: A .qtz is like source code. No way to compile it?



Unfortunately, I don't use the comp with a QCView but a QCRenderer and its OpenGL context...
And I tried, just renaming the file with another extension or just no extension and.... it fails.
Like QuartzComposer does actually.

Just one thought and it's very lo-fi; why not just give your own document apps something other than .qtz? When a user clicks on it it won't be launching QC, but using a QCView and pointing to this file should still work, right?
