color difference on macintel vs powerpc using QCTV frame export...

Hi folks,

I use the QCTV sample application to stream my composition output to a quicktime movie.
For doing this, I replaced the provided compositions by my composition and recompiled.

On my dual G5, everything works like expected, but the result of the same composition looks
very different when running the QCTV on my macbook pro (attached two screenshots)

Note that I indeed recompiled the project on both platforms :)

The following screenshots are from the quicktime movie result in quicktime player!

G5 output: this one looks exactly as the composition output if run in quartz composer:

macbook output:

please note that the content is not *exactly* the same, but the BLACK balls on the 'original' output appear as BLUE, RED appears
as LIGHTER BLUE etc...

There seems to be a color shift, but I wonder whether it has to do with the graphics hardware (radeon X1600 on macbook vs. 9600 on
G5) or with some compile flags that I have to use for the intel build (I suspect not)

The output renderer window on the macbook pro looks fine! Only the quicktime movie looks different!

perhaps someone can show me what I can do here or experienced similar problems?

thanks a lot!

alex
