Hi Alessandro
Thanks for your patience.
What I'm trying to achieve is to "Display" a stock ticker in a
Quartz Composition.
I'm not sure what is actually doable. But as long as it gets
displayed & grabs it's
database from a certain source on the internet , that should do.
If the QC cannot grab this particular stock ticker but can grab
other tickers from Yahoo
for example , I'll stick to it & convince my client that these are
the limitations.
My client is trying to display any ticker as part of his digital
signage project but this
particular one is the local - mostly liked - one.
The compositions will include Flash movies , QT Ref movies , RSS
feeds etc ...
& the ticker would be an asset to the project only if we can
display it.
I understand that tickers come in two types : java & flash. I was
hoping to create
a flash file that would display the ticker & eventually include it
in the composition.
The ticker's site is : http://www.dfm.co.ae/dfm/Main/homepage.asp#%23
click on "Stock Ticker"
Thanks a lot

Hi Moheb. Are you looking to reproduce the stock ticker's
functionality in QC or are you trying to embed what you already have.
Since i cannot get it to work you'll need to be specific about
what you are trying to achieve.

The link takes a while to load . It loads perfectly from my
side of the world.

What specifically is your question? I am unable to load the page

Hello Everyone
I'm trying to embed this stock ticker in a QC for a digital
signage project:

I have built a Flash file that triggers the site but never
managed to make it
display the actual ticker.
Any suggestions ?
