Regrettably, it doesn't appear to. I put some up on my website for testing and tried it from an Apple store last night. Just got the little plugin icon. I'm pretty sure it's got at least CoreImage because it has the nifty "Flow" UI (probably has an intel embedded GPU?). I'd be surprised if it had full-on Quartz with the pixel shaders, but who knows. I'm anxious to play with the interface capabilities of this device, especially in conjunction with QC, provided they open the system up for more robust development.

(rant)As a side note, I'd love to try it with my own iPhone, but after 60+ hours it's _still_ not activated!(/rant)

both if we save a quartz as a quicktime and transfer it using itunes AND if we embed a quartz in a webpage using webkit??? (I assume the AppleTV can play quartz files through itunes???)

I would really like to make some web apps for the iphone using qc if I can...
(but in the UK and no access to one yet....)
