I'm trying to take stills from some of my quartz compositions and use
them for print design
work. I need to extract still frames with alpha channel so I can
composite them in photoshop.
I can't find any easy way of doing this...
I tried, save the qc as a quicktime movie, then load in quicktime
pro, export->still image
save as PNG millions of colors+. this should work but the resulting
pct file has a black background
when opened in photoshop.
for the moment its working for me to composite in Motion (which can
read the quartz files with
transparency) but I guess there must be an easier way to get a still
out with alpha?
