Re: Importing 3D files into quartz



There is a hack that someone by the handle of "ClockSkew" made an attempt at
this. Seems to work for 3D Studio files, which you can convert to from
various 3d Applications.

Though, if they don't add this in Leopard -- I'll be surprised. But it seems
that only Premium Developers would know since these discussions are
embargoed for now.

The trick is to compile it as a custom plugin (which must be enabled in
Quartz Composer). It may be a little fragile -- I haven't used it myself,
but it should be possible as quartz has the old teapot in 3D available.
