If your XML is structured like an RSS file then the best way is to use
the RSS patch. If not, there isn't an easy way to do this in Tiger.
You would have to write an app that downloads and parses the data and
pass it to your composition. For example, if this was a screensaver
you could write an objective-c .saver project to do the pre processing
of data and hand it off to the composition.

Hi there,
Has anyone considered/created something that can HTTP GET an XML
resource and present that resource as a structure inside Quartz
Composer? I'm sure that it would not be tricky to create a viewer to
do this, I just wondered if anybody had, or if there is a built-in
method of doing it.
My goal is to periodically GET an XML resource and present some of
its contents inside of a composition.
