Open Sound Control help/problems


Hi All, I sent the below message a few days and didn't get a reply so I thought I should change the questions (as I really need to get this sorted out before a public performance next week)

1) Is there any way to use the version of the Open Sound Control receive object from the leopard beta build of QC (52) under the most recent build of quartz composer?

2) Is there anyway to use the leopeard beta quartz composer (build 52) under the release version of leopard - ie can I copy some directories from the beta cd (or an install) and overwrite the current build

3) Has anyone had the P5QC OSC receive plugin working under leopard? I've recompiled the plugin and put it in "/Library/Graphics/Quartz Composer Plug-Ins" but still get error messages along the lines of

"> (null)
<QCNodeManager | namespace = "com.apple.QuartzComposer" | 338 nodes>: Patch with name "OSCReceiveServer" is missing
.....
...."

4) Could anyone on the development team confirm if and what changes were made to the OSC receive object in between the WWDC leopard beta and the leopard release

I've traced the problem to the osc message rate which was working fine at 256hz (excessive I know) but now at that rate the OSC receive object knows its receiving objects (received signal flag) but nothing comes through. If I slow my messaging rate down to 10hz everything seems to come through but if I speed it up to 60hz then every now and then (1 in 10 times) I get 0 values.
