The attached composition has the Blob.qtz example composition within a
Render in Image set to 32 bit format. On my system, this causes the
blobs not to blend right, i.e., a black box appears around each
particle. Setting it to 16bit also shows black boxes. Setting the
RII format to 8bit gets rid of the black boxes. Is this expected
behavior or a bug? Thanks very much.

Radeon X1600 with 256 VRAM
Mac OS 10.5.2
and I have not installed the Leopard Graphics Update.
