Multiple Video Inputs / DFG1394s / vdig in app

Hello list,

Does anybody have any experience with using multiple DFG1394s video input devices in Quartz Composer?

Does anybody have any experience in creating multiple video capture inputs programatically, meaning I could write an application wrapper and feed in the two streams from there?

I am creating an interactive installation where I need two live cameras. The issue is that while I can combine two composite/s-video feeds using the DFGs in software such as Vidvox's VDMX, in QC or QuickTime I only the inputs for one DFG listed. I also don't see any way of adjusting the capture settings in QC.
