Hi there, I am currently working witht the OSC receiver quite a bit and I am encountering some difficulties. It seems I can only have one active composition ie. one receiver patch on a given port at a time. This might be sensible enough, but the problem is I am using a number of compositions for VJing and might have multiple compositions loaded at the same time in an arbitrary order - so it becomes really annoying to have these hardcoded ports. Only alternative is to prepare my whole collection of compositions with a unique port setting for each. the optimal would be a patch that scans for the next available port in a range. this would be possible to hack together if I could either 1) change the port runtime 2) activate/deactivate the OSC receiver runtime 3) import a new OSC receiver into the composition runtime. Any ideas for a hack? Or maybe a third party OSC plugin that does this? best regards -Vibeke PS: I started the question over at Kineme so excuse me for cross posting but I guess this is the right place as the OSC receiver is developed by Apple.
