Thanks everyone, I see what you mean, and it definitely looks like it send "true" now. But the added patches that Tamas so graciously added was not what I had in mind. I was most likely very unclear with my intentions. Sorry.

I want the cover art, and song information (all are different objects), to be moved to the right every X seconds, and then brought back after X seconds. All in a slingshot/fast motion. So the events are: Wait X seconds, then slingshot all to the right only keeping cover art on screen, wait there for X seconds, then slingshot to the left (to the original place).
And this should be repeated infinitely.

I got a suggestion to use Timelines. I tried it, but I cant really figure out how to make it forever repeated. I got a working curve, but dont know how to repeat. Any suggestions?

Regards,
Daniel

Hard to believe the Signal patch is disfunctional for you alone. It may be giving a false if not connected downstream to an active consumer patch (guessing 'cause that happens to me a bit).

Those two patches called "Signal" are new to me. I cant find them in my Patch Creator. And to be honest, they do not seem to work for me either. They always produce the value "false".
Is there something I need to download to make this work? Like a plugin?

Daniel

Hi everyone,

Thanks again for helping me onto my feet and getting me quicker into this than I ever thought possible.
I have another question, this time regarding interpolation. And I think it will be hard for me to get my point across, so if you do not understand me, please download my 0.09-version of the visualizer at this address to look at what I mean:

The problem is in the patch "HUD" and I have marked in with a blue note. Almost everything in the "HUD" patch has comments, so it should be pretty easily read.

The problem: I have a couple of objects that I want to quickly move to the right (a 2 sec interpolation with high tension), and then I would like it to pause there for a set time (for example 20 seconds), then I want the reverse thing to happen (a 2 sec interpolation back to the original position).

All you mighty developers... how do I go about doing this?

PS: As you might see in my "HUD" patch... I am not as efficient as I would like to be. A lot of the code can surely be slimmed down. If you want to make suggestions for that, please be my guest. I wont cry, I promise ;)

Thanks
Daniel Eriksson
