Effect componenet Problem.

Hi all,

Sorry, this is the second time I am posting the same question..

Here I have a problem with my quicktime movie playing application and
effect component????

I have written an application to play movie files using QT4.0. This also
plays movies from Darwin streaming server using RTSP. I have also
written a One source Effect Component.

My application adds a effect track every movie it plays before it starts
playing the movie. I do it by creating a temporary file which stores the
effect track description so that the original movie file is not altered.

In the Effect Component, every frame is passed back to the movie playing
application, using a callback function pointer which is registered while
adding the effect track.

The problem is when I add the effect track, the movie doesn't play
smoothly... I plays slowly and the frames wount be clear. The problem
is clearly differenciated with the streamed movies.. If I play the same
movie in QT player without effect track, it is smooth.

Can any one tell me what may be the problem with this???
Any help is hugely appriciated....
