DirectShow VDIG & RAW compression format

Howdy

I have written a proxy VDIG for Windows NT/98/2000 which uses DirectShow to render any windows capture hardware and pipes the rendered data to a VDIG. (Requires SP 6 to work on NT).

It works. Sort of. The color is AWFUL. I am struggling with how to correctly define the ImageDescription for the VDIG. Has anyone managed to specify uncompressed data in an ImageDescription using the various Windows native pixel formats?

If I use kWindowsRawCodecType I die deep inside quicktime. Using kRawCodecType works, but the colors are terrible.
