SGSetSettings vs. SGSetChannelSettings

Hi All,

I'm just looking to clarify something about SG settings save/restore behavior.

I wrote simple function to iterate over the channels of an SG and dump the instance of the channel and it's media type.

as far as I understand it, SGSetSettings will create entirely new channel component instances to suit the given settings, and dispose of the old channels.

SGSetChannelSettings on the other hand, seems to just reconfigure the given channel component (or at least, the component instances afterwards seem to be the same...)... is this always the case - ie: if the media type changes (say, I restore settings in reverse order to creating channels) ???
