2.I am not able to select the isochannel I want to use with my firewire device.Any ideas if this is possible?
Seems that the FireWire video output component is working in broadcast mode.
I am planing to have two different outputs playing out in the same time.

The Quicktime Input and Output components only support broadcasting to/from fixed channels (63 amd 64?); you need to use the lower-level Isoc api if you want point-to-point. See the examples in the FireWire SDK.
