| Thank you to whoever it was that answered my previous question about Sequence Grabbing (and writing my own seq grabber channel component). The suggestion was to take a look at a VDIG impl, which I've been doing. Indeed, this looks very promising. I've been studying the SoftVDigX example. An I can see essentially what it's doing. My questions are now: a) where do I find some definitive list of functions that I need to implement, in order to create a vdig that would return bitmap/raster date? I'm not returning a compressed source (at least, not that I know of!) b) The SoftVDigX KEXT has encoded in a number of .h files, each image. These are of type Y'CbCr 8-bit 4:2:2. Am I correct in thinking that if don't support a compressed source, that I can provide simply a raster image to the caller? --- Neil Clayton |
