Re: 10bit RGB playback into Visual Context

The DVI interface and all current lcd displays handle 8-bit RGB maximum.
However in my case I'm not displaying the data just processing it and I am reading 10bits back from OpenGL.
So I want to optimise getting 10bits into OpenGL from QT.

I don't have an answer, but I am working with something similar and I have a related question...

I have a 10-bit RGB OpenGL display, will the colors beyond 8-bit show up on a powerbook? A cinema display run by
a G5 desktop?
