Have you uninstalled 7.1 properly from that machine? After uninstalling, try
removing the QuickTime folder from program files manually.
Even better use FileMon (free from sysinternals.com) to see which files the
QT7.1 installer installs and where (try at a clean machine) and then remove
those at the problematic machine by hand after uninstallation. Then install
7.0
