Hi all:
Im trying to port a java application from Windows to
MacosX. Currently its built on java 1.4.2 and
quicktime 6.x with quicktime for java on windows XP. I
cant get it to build on my mac - OS 10.3.9, Xcode 1.x
and Quicktime 7. XCode keeps moaning about not being
able to find the quicktime for java classes even
though think I've included them. Software update wont
let me upgrade Xcode to 2.3 without upgrading my OS
first. I'm also a bit confused as to whether QTjava
6.x will run OK with QuickTime 7.x (I've been getting
mysterious crashes on another app so Im already
sceptical).
Sooo.... the bottom line is... what versions of
OS/XCODE/QuickTime/QTJ do I actually need to build a
quicktime Java app, and do I need to upgrade to 10.4?
As an aside, when is the next update to QTJ going to
happen - its wasnt even complete when it was released
and now appears to be a version behind....
Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere - I've
looked, cant find anything and the deadline is
looming!
Thanks in advance,
simon.
