Hi! I am currently developing an application that uses the
Quicktime SDK to decompress video data from a movie file to buffers in YUVS (kYUVSPixelFormat)
format. I am using the ICMDecompressionSession set of functions to do the work
and I use GetMediaSample2 to get the data from the file. Usually it works fine,
but when I encounter a file encoded with the H264 codec, I am able to decode it
but all I get is shades of green and purple. Plus the movie doesn’t play
smooth (maybe it’s a problem with the order of the frames). I checked the
result and the flags in the callback proc and everything looked fine. It seems
like the data isn’t outputted in the correct format (maybe it’s
still outputted in RGB???). Did anyone have the same problem while decompressing
H264 encoded videos? François Dagenais email@hidden |
