I need to know if the video data I receive from quicktime is
interlaced or progressive. Currently I am playing the movie by
setting the position in the movie and telling him to play the movie
with MoviesTask and receiving the data in an offscreen GWorld in
YUYV422 format, does QuickTime always render the movie in
progressive or it depends on the movie file? If so, is there a way
to get the information from the movie?
Here's a code snippet to determine whether the video is marked as
interlaced or progressive. Unfortunately, a lot of video is
unspecified, so may have to let the user supply this information.
