Re: Quicktime Pros Please Help!

Have posted this before but with no replies. Really need help on this one....

I want to transform a video track from full screen to half height placed in the center of the screen and then mask it off to give it rounded edges. I am using SetTrackMatrix and SetTrackClipRgn to achieve this.

Now the problem is that both functions don't appear to be able to work together. If a clip region (or matte) is applied to a track the matrix transformation is loss.

If this is common knowledge how else are you suppose to achieve this effect?! Is there a way to crop the source of a track rather than its destination?

ANY help whatsoever is highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Nick
Have you tried changing the order of the calls?
Have you tried setting a track mask / matte instead?
Have you tried overlaying another track with a single static image in it with an alpha channel?
