No, it doesnt return an error.

But, the output file doesnt seem to have the datarate anywhere close
to what I specified.

Basically, what I am doing is :-
- Create a compressions session with the options where I have set the
kICMCompressionSessionOptionsPropertyID_AverageDataRate and
kICMCompressionSessionOptionsPropertyID_DataRateLimits to the same
value.

- Set the Input Source timestamp to ( SourceFrameNumber * TimeScale /
OutPutFrameRate )
- Set the Input Source duration for each Source Frame to 1

Doesnt give the expected output.

Any inputs would be appreciated.

How do you know it doesn't work? Is it return a Error?

My question is :-
Is there a similar thing while using the ICM Compression Session API
introduced in QT 7 ? There are two properties that can be set :-
kICMCompressionSessionOptionsPropertyID_AverageDataRate
and
kICMCompressionSessionOptionsPropertyID_DataRateLimits

But that doesnt seem to work either. What is the correct way to set
the datarate for the compressed movie file ?

Thank you,
Raman
