Thread-topic: Bug filed: Erratic behavior/crash with SCRequestSequenceSettings() (4351976) [Followup]

A little over half a year ago, I filed a a radar for a crash in QuickTime:

aka:

In short, you can get QT to show signs of internal memory smashing (and
subsequent crashing) when SCSetTestImagePictHandle() and
scAllowEncodingWithCompressionSession are both used with
SCRequestSequenceSettings().
As of QuickTime 7.1, this issue still isn't fixed, so I thought I'd take the
time out and make a small sample project for the QT team. I took the time
out today to do so and have posted an update to the radar (and attached the
project). The sample project is basically the "Carbon Standard Application"
with about a dozen additional lines of code, so it should be a cinch for
*anyone* at Apple to repro and debug what's going on.
I'm just surprised something like this hasn't been a priority -- I guess no
one uses SCSetTestImagePictHandle() and
scAllowEncodingWithCompressionSession but me.
If you want a copy of the "QTCrash" sample project, feel free to email me
and I'll send you a copy.
