I'm writing a C++ QuickTime mac app which uses the
MovieAudioExtractionFillBuffer approach
(http://developer.apple.com/quicktime/audioextraction.html) to decode
compressed audio files (mostly in MP3 and AAC format). This is working
fine for reading samples, but it would be useful to have access to some
of the lower level codec information, for example to detect which frames
contain short/long/start/end blocks. Is there any way to do this through
QuickTime ?
Thanks in advance for any help offered,
Chris Sutton
