Preview DV-stream using QTKit

Hi,

I'm capturing a DV-stream to disk using AVCVideoServices without problems.

How shall I go about to display a preview of the capture, with sound (like iMovie), using QTKit? Can I do something like this:

A QTMovieView displaying a QTMovie backed by a QTDataReference that I somehow update with the DV-frames from my stream. Does this seem like a reasonable approach? My futile attempts have, so far, been unsuccessful.
