Is my understanding correct that all the IIDC APIs are useless
with the "Built-in iSight" cameras of new Mac Book Pros?
(Identified as being on USB High-Speed Bus.) I've tried to
query few settings like vdIIDCFeatureBrightness or
vdIIDCFeatureExposure but VDIIDCGetFeaturesForSpecifier gave
me -2201 = digiUnimpErr = "feature unimplemented".
Given that original firewire iSight is no longer sold, what
is the modern firewire camera "of choice" that works on Mac
and works with those IIDC APIs?
Is it true to say that majority of Mac users (who use cameras
at all) use USB cameras these days?
