Thanks a lot for that! I will take a look.
I really was wanting to know the format of the data buffer returned
by GetMediaSample(). I've found a document that describes the
format for some of the Codecs (Uncompressed Y CbCr Video in
QuickTime Files) but it doesn't include the DV-PAL details.

The information is all there, but it's not a trivial job to
implement it
right. The standards leave out a lot of the finer points which can
