One thing I have always wished for is that QT be able to take a
configuration file and open a local live video so that it can be done
without having to directly deal with the sequence grabber at all. That same
stream could then be encoded for transmission. When using video as a
component of a remote presentation screen, I want to see on my own machine
what is going out. This definitely needs help.
I also vote for the closed captioning. However, provide some options as
to how and where it is displayed. For example, for a small QT screen-size,
it may be desirable to display CC in a separate larger (possibly
transparent) view. Language options would be good also.
