RE: quicktime exporter keeps using more memory



Thank you for your quick response. I agree that it would probably be better to keep the exporter, but how would I get the exporter to release the movie so that my program can move the movie to a new folder?
I have tried setting the following after an export is complete:


axQTControl1.URL="",
axQTControl1.Exporters[1].SetDataSource(axQTControl1.Movie);

But when my app tries to move the file after the export is completed, the program says "Could not access blabla.mov because it is being used by another process."

So is there a better way to get the exporter to release the movie that I am exporting?
