Hello,

QuickTime has a problem with YUV420 in that it always assumes chroma is progressive. For example, decompressing MPEG2 to a 2vuy frame buffer leads to chroma artifacts if the chroma is interlaced YUV420.

I wonder if anyone can suggest some strategy to deal with this. Most users don't know the answer to a question like: is the native format of the compressor YUV420 with interlaced chroma?
