Quicktime 7.4 breaks my app!

Subject: Quicktime 7.4 breaks my app!

This code has been working since OS 9 and now all of a sudden my app cannot save because the following code when called in Quicktime 7.4:

err = CreateMovieFile(FSP, theSig, smSystemScript, createMovieFileDontCreateMovie, &resRefNum, nil); returns (err == -54) which is 'file opened with write permission'. It is true that the data fork is open with write permission but should not this function create a resource fork movie?

I need to store the movie (not the references) in the resource fork of my data file.

Any help greatly appreciated.
