Re: CreateMovieStorage + valid path = bdNamErr -- Anyone out there?

I have a vague recollection that we had to escape the ":" with a

Interesting. I tried it and it have any effect.

I'm not near any code to check how we're doing it, but I tried our app
(which uses CreateMovieStorage), specifying a slash in the filename
(which gets changed to a colon) and it worked as expected.

This puzzles me. I'm on 10.5.3 with QT 7.4.5. I tried targeting both 10.4 and 10.5 for giggles. Also sent the built app to 7 other people on 10.4 and 10.5 all with the same result. That built app is: http://www.sethwillits.com/temp/QTFileNameTest.zip -- Try it and see if it's maybe something with builds on my system? Random possibility...

Thanks,
