Re: Create sequence ready for web

Hello,

I know how to create a quicktime sequence (using ICMCompressionSession...). However, I could not find what is responsible in my Movie object for making the sequence "web ready" (can load in the background while playing). Where is it in the documentation, please ?
A little more information : I understand that I could use kQTMovieInstantiationPropertyID_AsyncOK if using newMovieFromProperties.
But my question is about *creating* a movie, using CreateMovieStorage, then adding frames (ICMCompression...), then UpdateMovieInStorage and CloseMovieStorage.
Where in that workflow am I able to specify that the movie should be encoded so that it can be loaded asynchronously ?

So, nobody knows ?
As a workaround, I have called FlattentMovieToDataRef() with the flag flattenForceMovieResourceBeforeMovieData.
However, I am not satisfied, because I have to create a new movie. I would like :
-either to perform that "in place"
-or, when creating my movie, set some flag telling it to always keep the header at the beginning, when I will add tracks.
Is it possible ?
Regards,
Pierre Chatelier
