Movie Quality when played by Active X

Hi all,

Another question here, perhaps someone knows the answer to this one...

Still the same application, a movie viewer using the Quicktime Active X Control. Current problem is in regard to playback quality. Several of the movies are animations, giving them very crisp lines and sharp edges, which are no problem for the Quicktime Player - whether playing in the original resolution (1024 x 576) or scaled down to 832 x 468. However, playing the animations in our application, scaled at 832 x 468, the edges are no longer sharp, but jagged and especially circular wheels look horrible. Is there anything that can be done about this? Our last resort is permanently scaling the movies to the correct resolution, but we fear losing quality when playing the movies full screen if we do that (plus it's a lot of work). Any advice?

Kind regards,
