| hi guys sorry if this seems to be a dumb question but I am at a loss on how to serve a port 80 fast start stream to the QT player in fullscreen without a shrink on buffer am trying to implement a result that forces fullscreen within quicktime player and remains in fullscreen when a buffer is received i have been successful in providing the result on a mac using a QTL or SMIL which pauses the movie in the QT player when buffer is hit but the Sprited Gworld method is something i am trying to avoid I am trying to remain within the current qtff spec and therefore was hoping the was a way to present the movie so its timescale is independent from forcing the player to shrink on buffer I am not using the qtkit api but using php to a binary method for assembling the movie architecture is there a tutorial anywhere that will help me assemble a server side movie architecture that will deliver a qt player fullscreen playback and pause when buffer not shrink? I am happy to get my feet wet in qtkit if necessary but was hoping there was an atom or similar that will help me out rather than drawing the video inside a sprite to achieve the result i am after thank you for all you help this list helps us keep the quicktime development platform alive regards fin |
