In the recent Quicktime 7.5 update, Quartz Composer-exported Movies that use video input deadlock QuickLook in Finder, and QuickTime Player. Out of the box, this situation never happens (since "Video Input" and all 3rd party plugins are marked as "Unsafe", and this fail to load in those environments), but with unofficial-api plugins it's possible to try opening the camera, which triggers this problem.

It's possible that this is by design, but if not it might be worth looking into (I can whip up some test cases if any apple engineer would be interested)
