Re: Media time to track time...

Hi Harry,

Converting media time to track time is, unfortunately, difficult. Tracks can contain edits, so the same segment of media can appear more than once in a track. Thus, while the mapping from track to media straightforward to determine, the inverse may not be true. A media time could have multiple track time values.

Is it possible to convert a given media time (TimeValue) back to track time?

There are basic utilities to go from track time to media time, but I don't
see the converse? Nor can I find anything that talks about this...

I must be missing something obvious, but I have gone thru so many .h files
and web searchs, that I have to come up for air...
