Re: QTJava detection

I don't think I was clear last time...

I'm building a grand public Web applet using QTJava for a BIG client.

It seems to need all the following components to make my applet working;
1. The Java JDK
2. The QuickTime player
3. The QuickTime for Java (and other QuickTime web stuff) install with the player
4. The QTJava.jar library (for user using JRE older than 1.4.1)

As I say, my applet is a Web applet so I need a solution to make my applet viewable for everybody. I CAN'T ask users to uninstall QuickTime and reinstall it in custom way, checking for QuickTime for Java and other Web stuff, copy the QTJava.jar in the "ext" folder of there JRE if they have an old version than 1.4.1... Almost all my users are newbies!

Thanks

Bigblackpapa
