Creating ISMA standard MPEG-4 videos with QTJ

I have been writing a capture app that will create standard MPEG-4 files that will play in the big three players, Quicktime, Windows Media Player and Real. I can capture using the MPEG-4 codec but these files don't play back in anything except Quicktime player. For one thing, there seems no way to create the SDSM and ODSM tracks.

Has anyone been able to do this or know how it's accomplished?
