From what I understand, if you install QT6 (without custom install), you
can't later "add" QT for Java. Is this true? I know that with QT5 you
could use the updater to add QT for Java later.
The issue is if an app shipped with QT (5) for Java, and the user then
uninstalls QT5 and installs QT6 (non-custom install, unaware that there is
an app using QT for Java), the app will fail when trying to use QT for Java.
The only workaround is to then uninstall QT6 completely and reinstall it
using a custom install.
Sorry if this is an issue that has already been brought up, I haven't kept
up with the list much, but I didn't see anything actually asking about this.
Thanks,
Dave
