yes, they need the full QT installation (they may need to select to do custom
installation in fact and select the QTJava if itsn't in the standard
installation [think it was in QT5 but on in QT6])

other problem I've heard of is that if they have QT installed withouth QTJava,
then the updater won't show the QTJava item to select (suppose you want to
install it later). I suppose Apple can easily fix that at the server side
(without any updates to the QT updater software)
